Thank you to the Students, Faculty, Staff, and Administration of Fostoria Jr./Sr. High School for welcoming exchange students from Germany, Japan, Turkey, and Denmark in the 2017-18 school year.  Fostoria will always be their second home.  They departed with lifelong friendships, loving families, and a deeper appreciation for American culture and Redmen Pride.  In our halls, sporting events, family gatherings and just hanging out, they shared their unique culture with us and left a bit of it here in Fostoria.

Youth For Understanding (YFU) has a 10 year running supporting the students at Fostoria Schools.  With local volunteer support for students and families, YFU looks forward to continuing global diplomacy through student exchanges locally at Fostoria in the 2018-19 year.  For families interested in learning more about hosting an international high school student or study abroad opportunities, please share the link to yfuusa.org and my contact information; Tammi Garrett, Area Representative Volunteer, Youth For Understanding, 419-619-6691, email: This email address is being protected from spambots. Transportation Request Form

Bus route planning for the 2018/19 school year is in full swing. Each summer, we check with parents of students regarding transportation for the upcoming school year.  If your child will not be riding the bus this coming school year, please contact our office -- by email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or phone 419-436-4105
If they will not be riding, we will remove them from the route list.  Should they need to be put back on the route, you can call the transportation office and we will put them back on a route.  This helps us keep our ridership accurate to ensure we have a spot for all students who will be riding the bus.

Also, any alternate transportation requests must be submitted no later than July 1, 2018, in order to put the students on routes.  (Click here for Alternate Transportation Request Form)

Thank you for your assistance!

Have a safe and enjoyable summer!
